You Can’t Guess Most Of The Cars In The Biggest Car Cemetery In The World
Here is one of the biggest car cemeteries in the world – the Chatillion Car Graveyard. We are going to say a few words about the car park and most of the cars inside. Nobody really knows how all these cars were left there. A couple of years ago there were a total of four car graveyards in Chatillon. The total number of vehicles in all graveyards was about 500. We talk about 500 retro vehicles. All these rides were left in the forest for many years. In 2010 most of the cars were stolen or removed by local citizens. Right after that due to environmental issues the whole graveyards was cleared.
It looks like a traffic jam inside the yard and on the top of that it was stuck here in the Belgian forest for more than 70 years. When you take a look at the pictures below you will find that these are not taken from a scene from “Walking Dead”. All these pictures were taken at one of the biggest car cemeteries in the world – Chatillion. Some people say that all these rides were left behind by US soldiers from World War II. How and where they obtained those cars is not known. It’s like the guys couldn’t manage to ship their cars back to USA. That’s why the soldiers decided to hide all these vehicles in a forest until they could come back and retrieve them.
According to another urban legend this is not the case. The current graveyard was an old car dump of cars created after the World War II.
