Fenyr SuperSport Takes Title Of “World’s Fastest Car” From Venom GT: 0-62MPH In 2.7 Seconds And Top Speed Of 270MPH
W Motors is a new company by the way – it was founded on July 11th, 2012. There is only one guy standing behind the supercars manufactured by the company – Ralph Debbas. Back in the time a lot of foreign VIP guests at The Sursock Palace in Beirut, Lebanon were able to see some of the initial Lykan HyperSport sketches. In January 2013 the company headquarters was moved from Lebanon to the United Arab Emirates. It was all done because of all the development and appreciation of luxury there.
A couple of days ago at 2015 Dubai Auto Show, W Motors presented their latest creation – Fenyr SuperSport. This one is not just the successor of Lykan HyperSport, it’s going to be the fastest supercar in the world. Why? Because this car is equipped with a 4.0-liter twin-turbo boxer engine developed by Porsche specialist RUF. The engine output is about 900 horsepower and 885 lb.ft. of torque. The transmission is custom built and it’s a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The chassis is made entirely of tubular aluminum and cloaked in carbon-fiber panels. This monster is ultra light and incredibly fast. The performance numbers could tell you more about it: the car could reach 62MPH from 0 in time of 2.7 seconds. If you would like to see the top speed – be careful as it is around 270 MPH. This car was born because of the collaboration between W Motors and Magna Steyr.

This is going to be one of the rarest cars you could see on the streets. If you wonder why, the answer is simple – the price. This speed demon will cost $1.85 million and W Motors plans to manufacture only 25 examples of it. Their previous creation, Lykan HyperSport, was made in only seven examples for over $3 million each.
