It’s Final – the High-powered Grand Cherokee Trackhawk Will Be Unveiled in April at the New York Auto Show
This is not a joke! The head of Jeep confirmed this one. He stated that this is going to be quite a special vehicle. Mike Manley confirmed that we are going to see the ride in April at the New York Auto Show. We saw lots of videos on the internet showing several Jeep SUVs being tested in hidden locations. It’s now final – yes, we are going to have this powerful SUV. The ride has been expected to bow in New York after months of rumors and spy shots. We still wonder what’s going to be under the hood? The Jeep boss Mike Manley didn’t provide further details, so we will have to wait a little bit.
We are going to find out soon if the blown 6.2-liter V8 Hemi Hellcat engine from the Challenger and the Charger is going to be the choice here. We know that these vehicles are RWD only and the engineers at Jeep are supposed to do their magic to put the same engine in this SUV. There are lots of parts that must be upgraded and totally changed in order to put the 4×4 here. We are not supposed to worry about this one, we truly expect this 4×4 monster. It’s going to be hell of a SUV. Just imagine this V8 engine that makes 707 horsepower under the hood. We all know that the best Grand Cherokee nowadays is the SRT model.
The SRT is equipped with a V8 engine that makes a total of 475 horsepower.
