Ford Pickup Vs John Deere Lawn Tractor In Epic Tug Of War
Today we are going to find out who is going to be the winner in this game of tug of war. On the left side we have a 1999 Ford Ranger pickup truck. It is a compact pickup truck that was built by Ford Motor Company from 1983 to 2012. The models from 1983 to 2012 were manufactured in the United States, while the 1997 to 2011 model years were marketed in South Africa. Only the extended cab version featured the automatic transmissions. Our pickup truck in the below video uses a manual transmission. The pickup truck here is equipped with a 2.5-liter SOHC I4 engine with 117 horsepower and 202 lb. ft. of torque.
The Ford Ranger got no weight in the back and its wheels are really small. On the top of that the pickup truck features an open diff. The whole combination here doesn’t make a lot for a great pulling power. In such games there are a lot of factors that could bring you the victory. Two of the most important factors are power and weight. On the right side we have a small John Deere lawnmower. Its owner decided that he could test it against a much bigger opponent. When you first look at the machines the pickup truck holds the advantage over the little lawn care equipment. That’s my opinion – what do you think?
You could easily play the video and see these two monsters going head to head.
