The Cadillac de Ville is model produced by Cadillac at first as a trim level but then it became a separate model. 1949 Coupe de Ville a status trim level of the Series 62 luxury coupe was the car number one to bear the name. The largest car in the model assortment of the Cadillac is the 2005 Cadillac de Ville, a full-size sedan also the last model to be recognized by that name.
