When Cars Have Birthdays – See How Chevy Is Celebrating The Camaro 50TH Birthday
This year the Camaro has turned 50. Yes, 2016 is the 50th birthday of one of the most iconic American muscle cars – Chevrolet Camaro. The automaker took a decision to celebrate this with the 50th Anniversary Edition Camaro. When automobiles have birthdays they usually get new paint job and custom badges. Let’s see what is so special about this 50th Anniversary Edition Camaro. It’s mostly just paint and badging. In addition you receive a front splitter and 20-inch wheels. The colour of the car is Nightfall Gray Metallic. It looks great along with the double orange racing stripe. The brake calipers are also painted in orange. The front grill is also new with satin chrome accents.
There is one special word that you could find all over the exterior – ‘FIFTY’. The badging could be found even on the wheels. The interior is all black with come orange accents. The seats are covered with black leather with suede inserts and orange stitching. We still do not have pictures from the inside, but Chevy promised something – seatbacks, steering wheel, instrument panel, etc. will be applied distinct 50th Anniversary treatments. The car will be available in the summer for both coupes and convertibles. The prices for the 50th Anniversary Edition Camaro are not announced yet.
There is one good thing about birthday edition cars – the manufacturer adds features instead of subtracting them.
